Many years ago people believed that THEY nerf current GPU cards shortly after releasing a new one. Now, the same people believe that AI labs nerf their models shortly after releasing. Nothing really changed

Web people really took this concept to heart when they freed JavaScript from the browser and decided to do everything in it. Love or hate it, spiritually this is the right thing to do.
I can't believe that Carmack, TigerBeetle, and I all agree on tooling. This is why I'm currently doing EVERYTHING in Jai. Even stuff like simple scripting that you'd normally use bash or Python for. Jai having robust modules for file and subprocess-related stuff helps a lot!

Jai is the best language for agents. Even in its closed beta state agents are very good at following its syntax and semantics. Fast compile times and very good error messages also good at feedback loops. I've been test-driving GLM-5.3-flash for Jai for some time, and it hasn't hallucinated a single language construct. I'm not even talking about actual frontier models. It even gets Jai macros right, even though they are largely undocumented still. Either there's enough training material already, or rules just make sense.
Rust no longer the defacto best language for agents Compile times are too long, I'm always finding myself bottlenecked by time not intelligence And the agents have gotten really at doing manual memory management now

Today I learned that there is a subreddit with over 20 thousand members dedicated solely to hate on Epic Games. Reddit can be such a miserable place it's unreal

The only use cases for this is scamming people and porn. There is not a single good thing this is useful for.
The whole point of building Tavus has been simple: talking to a machine should feel as natural as talking to a friend or coworker. It’s hard to describe all the tiny nuances that make a conversation feel human. The little expressions. Moving around in your chair. Knowing when to speak and when to listen. The dance of it all. Griffin is by far the closest anyone has come to a model that can capture those nuances. The first time I saw it being used, I had no idea I was watching our model rather than just a normal video call. I’m so incredibly proud of this team and what they’ve built.

One of the most universal truths about software quality is that the less code you have per some useful functionality the better. Just because code generation became cheaper, this doesn't become less true. The more code you have to do something the worse the outcome, AI or no

This is the only multiplayer game I've been interested in in the last many years! I backed it on Kickstarter and it's going the be amazing! It's written in Jai from scratch btw
After years of working on Fat Goblins, I can finally properly announce it: Fat Goblins releases November 12th!!! It’s surreal to finally have a date. Thank you to everyone who’s played, backed, shared, or followed the game along the way. See you in 16v16 on November 12th!

People from third world countries in replies not understanding the concept of high trust society and goodwill. You can instantly see through it if you're from one. Also, not getting the difference between building on top of others' labor and slopforking for smug points. Some people also make this into an argument of AI good vs AI bad. I'd say, this is not about AI at all.
Hey Claude - copy this one of a kind open source project. I'll go post how I made it in an hour on twitter to get likes! Copy it in a different language so it's a bit less blatant. Make no mistakes

Crazy how this happened after, and not a second before, a Linux graphical debugger codebase was MIT’d And no, he didn’t “make” anything

English is a great language - if you don't have to look at it! There's no place for writing and reading books word by word, it's so inefficient. All that is left for human book readers is to spot-check few selected paragraphs. Get on with the times!

All hands on deck! This is the biggest threat to Stop Killing Games yet!
