If everyone's building the same thing, we build what's next. Hear from the team that built Replit Design, and learn why we set out to reinvent the design process for the age of AI. The next era of design, for everyone. replit.com/design

Meet Replit Design ✨ Built to be the best place to design with AI, with an agent that feels like a true design partner I’ve spent most of the past year working on making @Replit the best place to go from exploration to reality. Can't wait to see what y'all make 🤗

excited to announce that I'm part of this inaugural class! excited to meet my 72 new design engineer friends 🫶
Announcing the inaugural class of @a16z Design Engineer fellows! 73 design leaders selected out of thousands of apps from talented people around the world. Many fellows wrote the original playbooks in product design like - @joshto from Meta, @iansilber from OpenAI (prev. Instagram), and Yuliya Gorlovetsky from Stripe. Some are currently building category defining products, zero to scale - like @diegozaks from Ramp, @ryolu_ from Cursor and Nicolas Garro at Vercel. Others are design leaders at tech powerhouses like - @ammaar at Google, @maheen_sohail at Meta, and @davidhoang at Atlassian. +64 more... See the full cohort and the sign-up form to stay in touch on the next DEF fellowship below!

Canvas is my favorite medium to express my creativity. Generate videos, images, SVGs... brainstorm with your team, add your favorite spotify playlist for background music, go deep in research, make silly websites!!! The world is your oyster... UNDER DA SEA 🐟 (inspired by old windows OS fish games)...
The best design work doesn't happen in a chat box. You need space to explore ideas, create variants, and iterate Meet the new Replit Canvas Your agentic design tool to build beautiful websites, apps, marketing assets and more

Many people think of design tooling as, "a tool that can help me get to pixel perfection." But really, product designers want more. A place to think, a place to craft... ultimately a place to problem solve! That's what @Replit Canvas unlocks. If you're a designer new to AI tools, I'd love to onboard you!
turns out reviewing a bunch of design options, flow diagrams, and product requirements all together is just faster to do in one place. and that one place is @Replit

my first little big update!! hope y’all enjoy ❤️
#LBUWeekly Update #10: Copy from version history the way you actually wanted to 🙌 Need to quickly grab something from your version history? Now you can copy items from the canvas and paste it to your current file. Works in Figma and FigJam.

ALT Inside Figma Design interface, a cursor chat appears and says “something is missing.” It then enables version history. The cursor copies an asset from a previous version of the file and pastes it back into place. Then cursor chats “better.” The number 10 is displayed in the corner. A Figma “little big updates” branded animation plays after the demo.

last year i came up with this idea as part of maker week @figma! accessibility is a passion of mine and i'm super excited for all the new use cases this will enable ❤️
This Global Accessibility Awareness Day, Rachel Miller and KC Oh share an update on @figma's accessibility efforts, including a beta for a capability we've been working on—making prototypes accessible to screen readers—that will launch in June. #GAAD2022 bit.ly/3MxljF8
