You can ask your dot to "create a pet and set it as your avatar". It can be based on an idea, an image or pretty much anything. Here is my dot

Cute, but last time people voted on what to cut, pets were near the top. Curious what changed.

such posts make me sad... when will dots be available in EU? might not get here in time, already trying claude and even sonnet 5.5 is kicking 6.1 Sol's ass so hard... the annoying part is exporting all the memories, chats, etc

made one that references the “infinity” example from your video it copied the glasses but dropped the idle bounce. is the animation style something we can describe or is it fixed per generation?

Where does the pet live? Local or on their servers?

Do you remember when you asked users which features they thought should be removed? PET came in second, right behind the 5-hour limit. But at this point, it really feels like you guys just don’t care about the user experience and are living in your own bubble.

The pet integration was the icing on the cake. I always recommend allowing your agent to design its own pet just to see what it does.

Any idea why my dot’s cloud computer is stuck offline? Chat still works, but the computer says “Unavailable” and won’t open. It’s been like this for hours. Is there a way to restart it?

Looks pretty nice! Are there any restrictions where the pet will stand on the screen?

Could you make it so the chat accents change to align the custom avatar colour (in the same way they do for the ring/character colours)? My dot’s chat having a different accent colour to the rest of my chats/projects is super useful :).

My avatar is mine. No agent is redecorating my face, ever.

I wish to ask my Dot to fix the browser and restore: voice selector back as it was, personalization on / off button back as it was removed for almost half a year now. Also I'd like my DOT to create a LAST GOOD KNOWN CONFIGURATION restore point for CODEX so when it crashes it restores without me having to debug openAI errors.

Can I ask if to change its name? Every time I ask it it says "I tried but the saved profile still says dot"

LOL Tibo. This and the pet feature are going to go the way of Old Yeller. This is not what AI is for. You know it, I know it, we all know it.

This is the exact task that first made me frustrated by my dot. I gave it simple instructions for a pet and to set it as my avatar, 24 hours later, Dimsu (my dot) still can't upload the avatar.
