Charlie, and if he doesn't what happens to the kids and your business?
I would not get involved with the labour party if and when Niger Fararge becomes minister, I’ll be happy to work with him getting youngsters into work. I could resolve the problem in one year. .

Lisa Nandy saying that if it was easy to fix the care service it would be done by now is not good enough. This has been an issue for years, your LAST manifesto should have recognised this. No good to kick it down the road.

It's OVER for accountants? Look at these numbers. Mercor put 12 licensed CPAs, averaging 5.5 years of experience, up against frontier AI on four accounting tasks. The humans averaged 37%. Claude Opus 5 scored 100% across all 20 attempts, finishing each in under 10 minutes. Most human attempts took 30–180 minutes. Just 18 months ago, the best AI couldn't beat the average accountant on these tasks. Now it beats even the best participant. Mercor wanted to measure how much AI could help accountants. But AI alone scored perfectly, leaving no room for improvement.

Decision models in llama.cpp are now available The `/v1/systemone` endpoint is available in the latest llama builds. Use it to do Jev-style inference locally, efficiently and privately. Multiple open models are supported with more to come. huggingface.co/blog/ggml-org…

Manchester City cheated Premier League rules, the Commission found. Did it also cheat HMRC? We've examined the decision and leaked Mancini documents. We think City likely failed to pay £12m in tax. There should be a criminal investigation. Thread:

Fairford suspect phoned 999 and turned the gang in, 👀
EXCLUSIVE - RAF Fairford plot was foiled when one of the suspects phoned police himself. “A farmer driving home in the early hours of Sunday morning saw the vans, surrounded by men in balaclavas, and alerted police at 1.36am. However, The Times understands the authorities were already on the scene by then because the suspect had called nearly one hour earlier.” Did he get cold feet or was it part of the plan? It accounts for the discrepancy between a farmer’s report and the police account Police investigation is focused on alleged Iran proxies and suspect’s motives in calling 999 are also under investigation. thetimes.com/article/72536db…

Elon’s advice to 20-year-olds on surviving the AI era: Get as broad-based an education as possible: arts, sciences, engineering, and wide general knowledge. Why? AI and robots will fulfill almost any request immediately. The edge won’t be doing the work. It will be knowing what to ask for. The broader your knowledge, the better your questions. (source: CGTN)
