Consumer finance is becoming more specialised. As financial infrastructure becomes easier to access, simply being able to launch an account, card or payments product becomes less of a differentiator. More of the advantage comes from understanding a specific audience deeply enough to build around its financial behaviour, needs and existing habits. That changes what can be commercially viable. A community or use case that once looked too narrow to justify its own financial product can now support something much more tailored. As the underlying stack becomes easier to assemble, builders have more room to compete on relevance, distribution and product fit rather than scale alone. This is the opportunity our Group CEO and Co-Founder @matveevp explores in this clip.

We’ve been named a finalist for Best Culture (250+ employees) at the @IIP Awards 2026. A proud moment for our colleagues, who shape what working at Wirex feels like through the support they give each other every day. A special thank you to our People team for the care and work they put into that experience. This follows our recognition in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026 in May, where we won the Industry Award for Financial Services in the Small Companies category. Together, these recognitions give people considering a career at Wirex an independent perspective on our workplace, and give our colleagues credit for the culture they help build. The winners will be announced on 18 November. Whatever the result, this recognition belongs to the people behind our culture.

The biggest change in stablecoins has been what people use them for. Stablecoin payments can already feel like an established category because cards, accounts and settlement products are now everywhere in the conversation. In reality, the payments use case is still relatively young. For most of stablecoins’ history, their role was much more closely tied to trading and liquidity. The serious shift toward payments only started accelerating in the last couple of years. That shift is visible in the infrastructure companies are now asking for. More partners are building around cards, accounts, payouts and settlement, which is one of the reasons our own focus has moved increasingly toward infrastructure.

Full Stack London will focus on the practical side of building financial products, covering what to build, what to own, where to partner and how onchain infrastructure connects with real-world payments. The day will combine panels, roundtables, workshops and live demos.

TOKEN2049 Singapore is coming up, and we’ll be there. On 7–8 October, Sviatoslav Garal, our Global Head of Payments, and Aleksandr Nurtdinov, our Asia GTM Manager, will be representing Wirex at the event. With thousands of companies across crypto, payments, infrastructure and Web3 in one place, it is a good opportunity to catch up with partners, meet teams from across the industry and have practical conversations around stablecoin payments and the infrastructure behind them. If you’re heading to TOKEN2049 as well, send us a DM and we’ll help set up a meeting with the team.

1/ Corporate banking just joined the Wirex stack. Builders can now launch stablecoin-native business banking and treasury products on the same infrastructure already powering consumer programmes. Until now, our infrastructure was primarily consumer-facing. That changes today.

4/ For builders, corporate cards, accounts, fiat rails, payouts and settlement can now sit behind one integration. That makes it easier to build corporate neobanks and treasury products where businesses can actually use their stablecoin balances day to day.

Wirex today is increasingly an infrastructure company. The retail business gave us years of experience operating cards, accounts, payments, scheme connectivity and compliance ourselves. The shift was to take that operating stack and make it available to other companies building financial products. We launched the infrastructure business in November 2025. In 131 days, it became the fastest stablecoin payment infrastructure to reach $1B in annualised onchain volume. That run rate has since passed $2B. Partners can now build with cards, accounts, payouts, settlement and other financial products through one integration, with an average signed-to-live timeline of 44 days. That is the direction of the business now. We are building the infrastructure other companies use to bring stablecoin-powered financial products to market. In this conversation with @samconnerone, Community Lead Developer at @circle and @arc, our Group CEO and Co-Founder @matveevp explains how Wirex moved from retail into infrastructure and what that focus looks like today.

Wirex infrastructure is now live on @Arc. 🤝 With Arc mainnet officially live, we’re bringing our banking and payment infrastructure onto the network, giving builders a new settlement layer for stablecoin-powered financial products.
Arc Mainnet is live. Arc launches as the Economic OS for the internet: an open platform for global markets, real-time value movement, tokenized assets, and agentic economic activity. Arc is more than a blockchain. It launches as a full-stack financial platform with assets, applications, interoperability, developer infrastructure, and Circle platform services live from day one. Arc delivers USDC as native gas, deterministic sub-second finality, EVM compatibility, and institutional validators. It integrates with Arc Studio, App Kits, Arc Portal, Circle Agent Stack, CCTP, Gateway, CPN, and StableFX. A complete economic platform at genesis. Arc launches with infrastructure for: → Agentic economic workflows → Lending and borrowing → Trading and liquidity → Onchain FX → Payments and settlement → Tokenized assets → Exchanges, wallets, custody, compliance, data, and developer tooling 190+ institutional and ecosystem builders are building across Arc.

That infrastructure is already operating at scale, with $2B+ in annualised onchain card spend across Wirex-powered programmes. @Arc is already becoming part of that stack too, with programmes built on Wirex infrastructure using it as their settlement layer.

If you’re building on @Arc and exploring cards, accounts, payouts or a broader financial product, you can build that layer with Wirex. Reach the team at baas@wirexapp.com or explore our infrastructure 👇 wirexapp.com/developers
