I’m so serious about cracking down on waste, fraud and abuse that I even arrested 14 of our own state employees for stealing $1.7M in taxpayer dollars.
My team of investigators have now arrested a total of 30 criminals involved in this scheme.
We will continue to be aggressive and put these criminals behind bars to protect Floridians.

Watching Jon Sumrall flip EVERYTHING about Florida in eight months makes me realize:
Billy Napier was somehow worse than we even realized.
Not to take *anything* away from Sumrall.
But it was never a Florida issue. Just a Napier one
A big thank you to these @BrowardSheriff deputies who went above and beyond to save these fur babies!
Florida is home to the best law enforcement officers in the nation!
Florida deputies race into a burning home and rescue seven dogs, including five puppies in in Parkland, Florida.
Deputies dismantled a pen holding the puppies before placing them in a laundry basket and carrying them to safety as firefighters battled the blaze.
The Broward Sheriff's Office says the pups and their parents were all rescued, and the deputies involved were later recognized for their actions.
Constitution Day is a meaningful opportunity to reaffirm the importance of civic engagement. Hearing from elected officials in a non-partisan setting is vital for our students who represent the next generation of leaders in Florida. Today, @PolkState hosted both U.S. Congressman Byron Donalds (R) and Florida Senator Rosalind Osgood (D).
Thank you, @RepDonaldsPress, for speaking with our students and Lakeland Campus community this morning about the significance of the Constitution and the importance of civic literacy. You provided our students with an understanding of our Constitution not simply as a historical document, but also as a foundation for how citizens participate in our constitutional republic.

Today I visited @RingPowerCat in St. Augustine to present them with a check for $42K in abandoned property.
Ringpower is a Florida company that also provides apprenticeship opportunities for students to earn real skills that lead to successful careers. These funds will help them further invest in workforce education opportunities.
You can check to see if you have abandoned property at ClaimYourCashFL.Gov
Did you know that 1 in 5 Floridians has abandoned property waiting for them at the state? Almost $3B is sitting there waiting to be claimed.
There are uncashed paychecks, utility deposits and more just waiting to be reunited with its owners.
Visit ClaimYourCashFL.gov to search for YOUR abandoned property and let us know in the comments if you found any!
I had such high hopes for @ProperCloth. I used to recommend them to a lot of people to get dress shirts done at an affordable price.
Unfortunately they’ve gone downhill.
Yesterday I had the honor of speaking at events in both Palm Harbor and Ft. Lauderdale to honor and remember those we lost on 9/11, and the heroes that ran towards danger to help those in need.
We will never forget what happened 25 years ago, and we will never allow terrorism to dim the light of American freedom.
Manatee County is ready for November! Thank you, @BlaiseIngoglia, @JimBoydFL, and @SydneyGruters for joining us, yesterday. 53 days until we keep Florida the Free State!
Today we honor the lives lost 25 years ago today due to an unthinkable act of terrorism on US soil, and we remember the heroic actions of the brave men and women that ran to help their fellow Americans.
We will never forget.
