Hi @Tesla , Swiss Tesla drivers fear that you are late in submitting the FSD request. Could you please update us?

I find it funny that some people got hung up on Starship not having gone orbital before Flight 14 when in the grand scheme of things it was completely arbitrary in terms of performance. The 19ish second burn only added about 91 m/s of velocity (a 1.2% increase in velocity) This capability has been physically capable since Flight 6 which demonstrated a single Raptor relight in space. Heck, Flight 13’s burn was about 14 seconds, but intentionally oriented to primarily do a plane change instead of a prograde insertion burn for continued safety. Any of the relights COULD have done the orbital insertion burn, the duration was not of any special technical capability. The reason Starship didn’t go orbital until Flight 14 is probably what we should applaud them for the most… SAFETY. Their methodical approach to getting good data and going one step at a time while hucking the single most massive object ever put into space proves they weren’t just doing things haphazardly, despite the occasional narrative from the outside. While it’s easy to compare Starship to vehicles like SLS or Vulcan or New Glenn, the reality is the focus hasn’t been on orbit, it’s been all on the “downhill” side of that. Safe and targeted de-orbit, clean reentry, targeted and soft splashdown. That’s the part that has (almost) never been done before. And here I do have to add a little Space Shuttle admiration for figuring out a lot of these things on its first flight in 1981 (although it came a bit close to not being successful). Pretty amazing there was a vehicle of similar scale capable of such precise deorbit and reentry that it landed on a runway with no go-around capabilities. Crazy. But Starship is well on a path to absolutely leap-frog the Space Shuttle in terms of performance (already over double and someday 6 fold) and hopefully in terms of full and rapid reuse. I hope we see the latter part speed up even more now that orbit has been demonstrated. Exciting times ahead!!! Keep going @spacex @elonmusk

Every other week there's some headline like "$50 million daycare fraud scheme uncovered" How about you guys figure out what's going on with that before trying to take more money for "childcare"
Childcare in America should be free. The Free Childcare for America Act would make care free for millions of families, pay family or friends who provide care, ensure childcare workers earn a living wage, and provide $1,000/month for parents who stay home.

So far this year, remittances to India from the US total about $74 billion. And $30+ billion to Mexico. IDK about you guys, but I’m pretty sick and tired of the US being used to support the damn world.

FIBA left Caitlin Clark off its “biggest star” World Cup poll. Not overlooked. Not forgotten. Left off. The most recognizable star in women’s basketball was excluded again, and FIBA somehow expects fans to take this seriously. Luckily, they gave you an “OTHER” option. So if you want to remind them who the biggest star in women’s basketball actually is, vote Caitlin Clark under “OTHER.” The World Cup tips off September 4 in Berlin, and FIBA’s own homepage is already embarrassing itself by pretending the player it just named MVP in San Juan doesn’t belong on this list. Vote here: fiba.basketball/en/events/fi…

Here is my submission: The Women of the Odyssey I used @imagine and @bot as my producer and @grok to research as well. Thank you for this fun project that turned into a bit of a musical! Grok has come a long way!!
Homer had a lyre. You have Grok Imagine. Create a compelling scene from Homer’s The Odyssey that shows what Grok @Imagine’s video and voice capabilities can do. We’re awarding $100K, $50K, and $25K to the top three videos submitted by quoting this post. 🧵

PLEASE STOP FORCING OLIVIA MILES INTO THE MVP CONVERSATION. IT’S EMBARRASSING. Olivia Miles is a GREAT ROOKIE. She is NOT an MVP candidate. There are LEVELS to this. People were so desperate to manufacture another “she’s better than Caitlin Clark” narrative that they skipped right over reality and crowned Olivia before she earned it. Flashy passes and getting downhill look great—but MVP is about sustained elite production. Then Golden State gave her the Caitlin Clark treatment—pressure her, take away her space, make her uncomfortable and attack her defensively—and suddenly the hype train hit a wall. 8 POINTS. 5 ASSISTS. 4 TURNOVERS. UNDER 30% SHOOTING. This is what the media keeps doing to young players: CROWN THEM FIRST, ASK QUESTIONS LATER. They did it with Paige Bueckers, and now they’re doing it with Olivia. Stop setting these women up for failure just because you desperately need somebody to challenge Caitlin Clark. Olivia Miles is GOOD. She could eventually be GREAT. But MVP? STOP IT. THERE ARE LEVELS TO THIS.

Jemele, Will Thomas did the same thing as Enes Kanter Freedom… Thomas spent the majority of his career competing with men (3/4 seasons) and then transitioned to women’s sports. It’s not hypothetical. It’s what has happened all over the country. The fact that you can’t see and understand that, shows how freakin’ dumb YOU are.
If you have to constantly invent hypothetical, implausible scenarios to try to make a point, maybe the point you’re making is just fucking dumb.

Social media users are calling on a WNBA team to sign transgender French basketball player Julie Tétart, who averages 21 points per game. Tétart, who came out as trans in 2021, is a 6'3'' machine, averaging 20 rebounds per game. Tétart led France's 'Ligue 2' in scoring and rebounds during the 2025-2026 season. The trans star won Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Domestic Player of the Year, according to Fox News. What is the @WNBA waiting for?
