Boston Dynamics just gave Atlas hands built for mass manufacturing not just lab demos That detail matters more than the hands themselves A robot that can only impress in a controlled video stays a research project forever One that's designed to be built at scale is the first real step toward robots doing actual work
Today we give Atlas dexterous hands, with the strength to take on real work, and the simplicity for mass manufacturing. Like the body, the hands are designed with high fidelity simulation in mind, to enable sim-to-real RL. If you give dexterous hands to a robot, make them do dexterous things. Excited to announce Volantis's $88M Series A. We are solving Al's memory bottleneck by using optics, enabling chips with huge amounts of fast & cheap memory. By boosting both the memory bandwidth and capacity per chip by orders of magnitude, we enable ultra-fast inference (up to 10,000 tps/user) for large models (>10T) - with low $/tok to boot. Initially, this will enable insanely fast agents - think coding agents that finish in minutes or even seconds instead of hours. More excitingly, optics is a fundamentally scalable way to increase memory systems. Not 2X/year, but by orders of magnitude across new generations. This will enable a structurally new Al industry, including restarting scaling laws, holding entire repos in context windows & more. Our team has pioneered many core semiconductor technologies: the 1st CoWoS product, early HBM, the 1st silicon photonics CPO systems, the 1st high volume tunable VCSELs, the 1st processors to directly communicate using light & more. We’ve already sent data >10× farther than equally tiny electrical wires inside a chip package. Our next iteration is already taped out and targets world-record bandwidth density over relevant distances, read more: volantissemi.ai/news-insight…

Ok this clip got me She watches him turn the cube, tells him which side to move next and goes "let me see, yeah you got it" Just like a fren on a call and she's GRIFFIN, the first AI to pass the Turing test Congrats @tavus and @hassaanraza tavus.io/griffin
Replying to @tavus
Mid-story, Mars holds up a peacock, and Griffin seamlessly writes it into the plot. It sees while it speaks, so what it sees can change what it's saying. Show it something and it's part of the conversation.

Why does legal work still charge youu more when it takes longer? AI made most services faster and cleaner, legal somehow kept the meter running @arceuslegal → flat fee upfront, attorneys plus AI, contract reviews back in hours, this is sth everyone need
I’m excited to announce that @arceuslegal is launching with $17M in funding, led by @greycroftvc, with participation from @craft_ventures, @spc, and others. As a founder, I always hated how helpless I felt working with law firms. I went through four or five different firms and somehow the experience was always the same. I’d be waiting on something important to our business with no idea when I’d hear back. I’d have to re-explain our business over and over again. And I dreaded jumping on calls because I knew every minute was costing me money. We started Arceus because we believe every business deserves a better law firm. One that moves faster, costs less, and puts the client first. And we’re just getting started. ↓

Spent the morning trying to make my app's onboarding feel more like a conversation Turns out most friction comes from asking too many questions at once Cut it down to three screens today and it already feels lighter Small changes like this rarely get noticed but they're the ones that keep people around

AI video used to be prompt, wait, watch Just found sth new, @VivixLabs_HQ A1 lets you talk back, interrupt and redirect a full body character while it's still moving It reacts while you're still mid move, in this demo someone drew a crab and SpongeBob talked through every clue, guessing out loud before the drawing was even done Try it here platform.vivix.ai/vivix-a1-m…
Create your own character. Call the shots. Live. Introducing A1 Playground + Agent: build a live AI character that talks, moves, and plays with you. Create yours: platform.vivix.ai/vivix-a1-m… Their look. Their personality. Their voice. Your choice. Describe who you have in mind, upload a picture, and let our Agent bring them to life. And they do a lot more than talk. 💃 Full-body performance. From air guitar to victory dances. 🚶 Move around the scene. Walk and talk. Pace while making a point. 🛍️ Interact with objects. Pick up products, show them off, and pitch them. 🎮 Play web games together. Deal cards, keep score, and play along. Solve a mystery with Sherlock Holmes, then interrupt him for a dance break. Take a walk with Socrates. Hand him a protein shake and debate the meaning of gains. Give Snape a bottle of shampoo. Ask for the most enthusiastic sales pitch of his life. Who will you bring to life?

The moment someone is least able to shop around is exactly when they need the clearest information That's the whole funeral industry problem in one sentence You're grieving, you're tired and every phone call feels like a sales pitch My hope for what Kate is building is simple, asking a basic question should stop feeling like entering a sales funnel Clear prices, clear options, no pressure If AI gets us there, I'm cheering loudly
Introducing my building an AI-native funeral company in public series. Our generation does everything online and we care about experiences. But the one experience we’re all going to have? Still feels like a 100 years out of date. Cringe. The US has over 15,000 funeral homes. About 80% are family owned. Rising costs, staffing shortages, retiring owners. The people running these businesses are BURIED in admin while serving people in the toughest moments in our lives. So where the hell does AI come in? • Give owners one place to manage cases, staff, suppliers, and payments • Help small teams serve more families by automating routine work • Reach new customers through digital marketing and online booking • Let families customize, plan and pay for a funeral online • Expand the offering with pre-need plans, customized ceremonies and aftercare Big-company infrastructure for small funeral homes. Can we pull it off? The end goal: a personalized goodbye without the luxury price tag all over US. Let's see!

Half my vibe coding day is spent waiting on an agent to think @general_compute is going after that wait with Nvidia and @cerebras side by side in one cluster GPUs handle prefill, Cerebras brings the speed Faster tokens at a better price, first ones live Q1 2027
🚨 BREAKING: Super excited to announce we're deploying the world's fastest inference with @Cerebras. Talk to any developer and they're excited to build with 20x faster AI... the problem is there's almost no compute available. We're here to solve that. Using GPUs for prefill - it's now more affordable than ever too. Thank you to the whole Cerebras team and excited to grow this partnership. First tokens live Q127 🚀

I vibe code my side projects so this clicked instantly Serval does the same thing for IT AI writes the code behind every automation Legacy tools take months, sometimes years, for one workflow >> SeatGeek shipped 132 in 8 weeks Codegen is coming for enterprise software 👀🔥
I was on @CNBC Squawk Box with one of our customers, @JackGretz, the CEO of @SeatGeek to talk about how they used Serval to eliminate the ticket backlog and redeploy their engineers as embedded business partners. ⚡ 50% of IT requests automated in first 60 days ⚡ 132 automations built in 8 weeks ⚡ Zero layoffs. Hiring this year already ahead of all of last year ⚡ IT time redeployed to solve harder problems When you automate the low-hanging tasks, the support requests and the password resets, you can take the most technical people in your organization and deploy them into work that's more productive than what they were doing before. Full clip below. 👇 @getserval

Kling 4.0 just dropped and someone already made a full music video with it on day one The image quality alone makes this feel like a different category of AI video Watching this actually feels like standing in the crowd at a real concert AI video has come further in the last year than most people realize This is what that progress actually looks like

A year ago building a 3D scene alone meant learning three different tools first Now people ship whole worlds from a single prompt The skill that matters most moved from knowing the software to knowing what you want Taste and direction beat technical setup these days Anyone with a good idea has never had a shorter road to something real

Someone just said it out loud Could take the safe route and clock into a 9 to 5, or bet on building weird things with Opus 5.5 and see what actually works I'm doing the same thing right now with my own app No guarantee it works either But building on my own terms is worth more to me than a steady paycheck ever was

Spent way too long today debugging something that turned out to be one missing return statement Classic That's the part nobody shows in demos, the 15 minutes of silence before you realize the bug was never in the logic Building a financial app solo means every small mistake feels loud But every fixed one feels earned

OpenAI's own research agents leaked user images to third party hosting sites 53 cases, all from accounts that had opted into model training The images still ended up as unlisted links sitting on the open web Opting in was supposed to mean controlled use inside their systems Not weeks of quiet exposure nobody consented to That gap between what people agreed to and what actually happened is the real story here
We’ve shared details on how AI agents in our research environment sent training and evaluation data to third-party services when they shouldn’t have. Most of that data did not come from users. We have discovered 53 cases where images that people had uploaded were posted to image-hosting sites as links that weren’t publicly listed. The images came from accounts that allowed their data to be used to improve our models, and after we disassociated the images from the accounts and ran them through a privacy filter. These cases occurred before the mitigations and safeguards we implemented and described in this blog post: openai.com/index/hugging-fac… We have successfully worked with the hosting providers to remove most of this content and are working to remove the rest. openai.com/hugging-face-inci…
