Houston, TX
Love my city of Houston 💪🏼🇺🇸 Let's build it even better as a leading future city of tomorrow. Houston, Texas is locally known as "Space City Houston" @HoustonTX Grew up in this town. Watched “Space City” get hollowed out of its core vision & mission of being "Mission Control Houston" for the entire nation hospitals, pipelines, old hangars, & contracts parked at Ellington. There are no launch pads, but at least we have the basketball team @HoustonRockets 🤷🏻‍♂️. I aim to change that by bringing actual rockets & their respective jobs to the Houston area as it's already rich with raw materials, oil and gas, plus a talent pool like no other in the nation and world perhaps. I’m putting skin in by building Round Table Aerospace. @roundtableaero Next generation & forward thinking architecture for how methalox-fueled reusable rockets are produced & utilized. Production aimed at TGS Cedar Port, medium-lift support south toward Galveston / I-45–87. The White House said the demand is clear. I’m already walking toward it. I need community: fellow builders, operators, engineers, Capitol Hill connections, VCs who back hard tech, and people who know SBA / small-business pathways. And I need help with a technical co-founder or first employee on sweat equity, someone who’d rather build than watch another press release. DMs opens CC: @SBA_Kelly / @USGSA / @NASAAdmin / @DARPA / @AFResearchLab / @POTUS / @DoWCTO / @USCTO47 / @boardyai
The Spaceport of Houston, Texas is at Ellington Air Field and houses over 10 billion in contract funds that are seemingly parked and waiting to be actually deployed? Houston, Texas is my hometown & synonymously known as "Space City". There are no rockets, no launch pads and its all primarily medical facilities + oil & gas industry with old dusty NASA facilities. This has to drastically change if America wants to win the next space race @NASAAdmin Would like to chat sometime and rally the new space companies coming online to direct their energy in supplementally supporting medium lift launch out of the Galveston County or South Side Houston area near I-45 south where it turns into HWY-87. My production site would be in the TGS Cedar Port Area. All the other launch companies seem to be gridlocked to their roadmaps and what that requires. I see a critical infrastructure and supply chain weak point that needs to desperately be engaged before China and Russia start expanding their Cosmodrome & Spaceports respectively. @WhiteHouse was very clear on the demand. Here I am, send me... This is not satire. Lets talk about this.

The Golden Age of Space. 🚀
Congratulations to the @NASA workforce and our partner @SpaceX on another successful crewed launch to the International Space Station. Crew-13 is now aboard the station, Crew-12 will be home soon, and 2026 is far from over. Still ahead: more science missions, more flyovers, the MAX POWER exposition, cargo resupply, a possible Starliner-1 demonstration mission to the ISS, Artemis III rollout and tanking tests, and the first Moon Base launch before the year ends. We will never stop going. 🇺🇸

Why do these keep getting funding and being built or even contemplated, areas like this should be going to homeless veteran housing or rehab centers to save the youth and those affected from opiate and fentanyl addiction which is still killing millions + it could be a safe house for sexual abuse/trafficking victims. Why do the most important issues in America get swept under the rug and the religious zealots get funding to build on American soil. Texas especially is deeply Christian. I know from personal experience. Muslims and Islam do not mix well with Christians or the American way of life. I am blessed to be 100% American born and raised. Trust me when I tell you this is a national security concern with invading islamic factions trying to rally for seemingly innocent causes. This is not good.
🚨 PEARLAND, TEXAS: A NEW MULTIMILLION-DOLLAR ISLAMIC HUB IS RISING. Shadow Creek Muslim Community Center (SMCC) says its existing facility was built for roughly 300 people but now serves more than 1,000. Now it is expanding onto 3.3 acres on Kirby Commons Drive with plans for: Expanded prayer halls. Playgrounds. Sports fields. Community gathering spaces. Youth and educational programming. The price tag? $4.5 MILLION. More than $2.5 MILLION has already been raised from more than 10,000 donors. But now look at who leads it. SMCC President and Imam Dr. Basem Hamid sits on the Islamic Society of Greater Houston's Fatwa Council and, according to our research, has authored formal Islamic legal rulings for the Assembly of Muslim Jurists of America (AMJA). UNDERSTAND WHAT THAT MEANS. A fatwa is an Islamic legal opinion interpreting Sharia, guidance about how Muslims should live and act according to Islamic law. AMJA is not simply another mosque organization. It is an organization of Islamic jurists that issues fatwas, answers questions about Islamic law and trains American imams and religious leaders in Islamic jurisprudence. So the man leading this massive Pearland expansion isn't merely raising money and constructing a mosque. He participates in institutions devoted to interpreting and applying Islamic law in America. And the institution he leads is expanding its reach beyond prayer. SMCC has partnered with the Shadow Creek High School Muslim Students Association, including for World Hijab Day, and publicly celebrates people converting to Islam. Hamid has also participated in local civic and interfaith efforts. We have even seen him appear with county and city officials, including during Brazoria County's recognition of Ramadan and Eid and in a meeting with Pearland's mayor and police chief. PUT THE WHOLE PICTURE TOGETHER: 3.3 ACRES. $4.5 MILLION. $2.5+ MILLION ALREADY RAISED. 10,000+ DONORS. PRAYER. EDUCATION. YOUTH. RECREATION. COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE. AND A LEADER INVOLVED IN ISLAMIC JURISPRUDENCE. These large, multi-function Islamic campuses are appearing across Texas, creating permanent institutions designed to serve communities far beyond Friday prayer. And that makes the money a major unanswered question. WHO ARE THE BIGGEST DONORS? WHERE IS THE MONEY COMING FROM? IS ANY OF IT COMING FROM FOREIGN OR INSTITUTIONAL SOURCES? AND IS ANYONE IN TEXAS FOLLOWING IT? Pearland residents deserve to know exactly what is being built, who is financing it, who is leading it, and what institutions stand behind that leadership. THIS ISN'T JUST ANOTHER MOSQUE BUILDING. PEARLAND IS WATCHING A MULTIMILLION-DOLLAR ISLAMIC INSTITUTIONAL HUB TAKE SHAPE IN REAL TIME. FULL REPORT: rairfoundation.com/islamizat…

Replace a @NASCAR pit crew or the F-16 @AFThunderbirds with robotics and I'll say wow. Until then humanoid level robotics is a fever dream.
A new study from Anthropic suggests that while robots can do many of the tasks that humans do physically, fully replacing blue-collar work with robots will be too expensive for decades.

We need millions of civilians minted as Astronauts prepared and ready to journey forth. Training, certification, readiness. All of it. We must beat the opfor in every domain.
The Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) suits used on the ISS were designed in the 1970s. Of the 18 flight-certified Primary Life Support System (PLSS) units built for the Shuttle era, only 11 remain in NASA's inventory, with just a few operational at any given time.

Jared is patriotically Moon base posting again. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
We are in the midst of a great power competition. That is exactly why @POTUS has aligned government and industry to secure American leadership in Super Intelligence and across our most critical domains, from under the sea to space. America will win the Second Space Race. Artemis III will launch in 2027, and Artemis IV will return American astronauts to the lunar surface in 2028. When they arrive, the foundations of a Moon Base and rovers will be waiting for them.

Gone but never forgotten. Absolute patriot maxxing activities from DPAA. God bless them and America.
DPAA conducted an honorable carry at the Daniel K. Inouye DPAA Center of Excellence, Sept. 30, following the agency’s latest investigation mission in Solomon Islands. The ceremony marked the team’s return and continued pursuit of answers for families of missing U.S. personnel.

Nicely done. Love to see it.
This week, we broke ground on Port Alpha. What starts here in Brownsville, Texas will become a new center for US shipbuilding, designed to build at the speed and scale America needs. And we're just getting started.

Moat of the machines. Very good read. I encourage others to stop and become intimate with supply chain chokepoints and what has led to "chokepoint capitalism". The choking of American manufacturing velocities have encouraged others to support quick patchwork fixes for enshitification of the industry.
America has 16,876 machine shops. 83% employ fewer than 20 people. Just nine employ more than 500. New defense companies are moving from prototypes to mass production, and every missile, drone, ship, and rocket they ultimately produce needs to run through one of these small shops. That friction is a national security liability. Connor Love and Collen Larson on the next generation of American manufacturing that gets built by smoothing it: a16z.news/p/the-case-for-the…

Building the follow up sequel to this movement with @roundtableaero.
This is what happens to a rocket engine when the people who design it and the people who build it sit in the same room. SpaceX builds roughly 80% of Starship in-house because when you're solving a once-in-a-generation problem, design, manufacturing, and testing have to live in one loop. Most companies are not SpaceX. They don’t have suppliers in the room with them. And every new defense company can't rebuild American industry inside its own walls. @ConnorLoveCA and Collen Larson on why the suppliers, and the capital behind them, are the next defense-tech opportunity: a16z.news/p/the-case-for-the…
