Introducing Claude Fable 5: a Mythos-class model that we’ve made safe for general use. Its capabilities exceed those of any model we’ve ever made generally available.

A lot of people missed the release notes but you NEED to sign up for test flight or google test track of you use nightly now until v2 becomes stable! And if you were previously on TestFlight but using stable server, leave the TestFlight and use 1.4 from the stores! If you tried joining Google test track and still don’t see 2.0 after a few hours, try leaving beta and re-joining. I’ve gotten reports that Google never delivered 2.0 on the first try… very annoying i cant just give a URL that let’s people join and is instant like TestFlight…

Mobile needs the beta to talk to a V2 server: Android: join groups.google.com/g/t3-code-… then play.google.com/apps/testing… iOS: TestFlight testflight.apple.com/join/Xg…

This is f*cking insane. This tip saved me thousands of dollars. run Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5, and Fable 5.1 together, and stop burning Opus on work it was never needed for. the whole idea in one line: the strong model plans, the mid-tier model executes, Fable stays quiet until it's actually needed. roles, broken down: Opus 5.5, high effort, owns the plan and ships the final code Sonnet 5.5, medium effort, splits into explorer (reads the codebase), worker (edits files, runs tests), researcher (pulls docs) Fable 5.1, called through /advisor fable, reads everything happening in the session but stays silent unless something's actually wrong three moments where Fable speaks: → a plan goes out: is this actually the right call? → the same failure shows up again: is the search going nowhere? → the task gets marked finished: did something get skipped? Jev engineering does the same thing one level down. the forks that don't need real thought, which file, which tool, keep going or stop, go straight to Jev and come back in under half a second. the big models only ever see the forks that genuinely need a decision. anyone still running one model for everything is paying Opus prices to decide whether a file exists. drop this into Claude Code: "Rebuild my Claude Code setup around this structure: Look through ~/.claude/agents and .claude/agents for subagents already covering explorer, worker, and researcher. Only create new ones for roles that are missing. Set model: sonnet, effort: medium on each. If an existing subagent is locked to a different model, leave it as is and just list it. In ~/.claude/settings.json, set effortLevel to high and advisorModel to fable. Check for anything disabling the advisor, CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_ADVISOR_TOOL, DISABLE_TELEMETRY, or anything blocking feature-flag fetches, plus CLAUDE_CODE_EFFORT_LEVEL, which can override subagent effort settings. Report what you find. Don't change any of it yet. Add one line to ~/.claude/CLAUDE.md: check in with the advisor before a big plan, when the same error shows up twice, and before marking a long task done. Show every change as a diff first. Wait for my go-ahead before touching anything." code.claude.com/docs/en/advi…

But are you sure that they reuse cache between models? without cache hits, this orchestration might be more expensive

if you haven't already, turn on 'Continue threads after restart' in t3 code takes away all of the stress of restarting your computer / updating t3 code and you agents resume working, is excellent

Yep, but I would still prefer conductor way "Update when IDLE"
36
Biggest hesitation w/ this change is that I've put SO much effort into minimizing how often things shift around and move in T3 Code. Really wanted to build a sense of spatial awareness into the product. This takes away some of that, but it trades it for less "random stuff distracting you". Not sure if this will stick but I'm so curious how others feel about it

At the same time I'm super confused with this awareness and latest updates to threads. Like something pinged and I expect thread to be at the top of list (like usual messages), but I have to dig through list to figure out which thread pinged and I can review

i’m seriously thinking about starting this challenge: clone a $5M/month mobile game and make $1,000 in less than 1 month too hard? easy? impossible?

Spend $2k to earn $1k , challenge completed. Most of the high revenue games had ultra negative ROI until the user base grown significantly.

I've been actively fighting almost guaranteed age-related loneliness for years, studies show after age 30 you start seeing friends less and when you get older especially men don't have any social life left! It's preventable, but it takes effort and initiative We've now organized 70 weekly coworking days where we meet with friends and work together, do show and tell, and try help each other make things (also hardware stuff more recently) We've also started organizing movie nights, art nights, barbecues, we watched the World Cup final on a projector screen in the garden with friends We did a collage night the other day where we bought cheap gossip magazines, colored paper, and Pritt glue, and gave everyone scissors to make their own art, I think nobody spent time on their phone for at least 4 hours, making things puts you in a flow state and it's fun to do it in a group because you talk about different stuff while making things than you would for ex having a dinner Movie nights are nice too but less popular I think cause everyone prefers to watch movies alone and also you can't really talk during a movie Coworkings range from having sometimes 20 people to sometimes just 2 people, people have their own lives, but me and @rameerez still try to organize them weekly One thing I realized is that we are usually the ones organizing stuff, but that's not a bad thing, there's even studies about this, there's usually a few people in a group who organize most of the events If nobody in your group organizes stuff, it doesn't mean nobody wants to do stuff, but you have to take the initiative to bring people together which isn't easy in a time where phones and apps and the internet are simply easier and cheaper dopamine than driving to a friends house for a party You can start with a coworking day, everyone brings their laptop, and you provide WiFi and coffee, then later you can try more types of events Having an active social life is just as important or in some studies even more important for health than physical fitness After a nice party I feel tired but satisfied, I had fun and didn't spend time on my phone or computer but instead talked and laughed with friends etc. We don't drink alcohol with very few exceptions and nor do our friends, so it's mostly just having really nice food and sparkling water or kombucha etc, and we don't really need alcohol, after a few hours it gets fun enough anyway! So I recommend everyone, take initiative, and organize something and get people together, it'll be fun! 😊
Great article on increasing solitude of our societies, in this case US but same probably in EU to a lesser extent: "Derek Thompson's essay "You Are No Longer Invited to Dinner" argues that Americans have largely stopped having people over. The headline stat comes from combining the old DDB Needham Life Style surveys Robert Putnam used in *Bowling Alone* with a new replication by Data For Progress. The share of Americans who host friends or family at home at least monthly fell from 42% in 1975 to 12% in 2026, roughly a 70% drop. Most other forms of socializing also fell by double digits over the last 30 years, including cards, bars, sporting events, and volunteering. The decline in hosting was steeper than the much-discussed drop in church attendance. He rules out two comforting explanations. People haven't just moved dinners to restaurants, since solo dining is rising and face-to-face socializing is down overall. They also haven't replaced parties with other social activities. Exercise and travel are up, but exercise is mostly solitary, and time spent at home has jumped sharply since the 2010s. His explanations: 1. Harried dual-earner households. As societies get richer, leisure starts to feel like work, and planning a dinner party is basically unpaid project management. Women historically ran the family social calendar. When they moved into paid work, men didn't take over that job. He admits this can't be the whole story, because total leisure time has actually increased. 2. Intensive parenting. Parents, especially fathers, now spend far more time with their kids, and that time comes out of evenings that used to go to hosting adults. 3. Shrinking friend networks. Close friendships are declining, most sharply among people without college degrees, so hosting is becoming a luxury good. People who never host skew toward independents and non-graduates. He speculates that weaker social ties may lead to weaker party attachment, rather than the other way around. 4. Home is too comfortable. Americans spent almost two extra hours a day at home between 2003 and 2022, much of it on screens and short-form video. His closing idea is a "Lump of Leisure" theory, a twist on the Lump of Labor fallacy. Technology hasn't made human work unnecessary, but it has made other people less necessary for fun. Social leisure turns out to be finite and easy to displace. He frames this as a coordination failure rather than a personal one: a dinner party requires schedules, cleaning, food, allergies, and the risk of a dull evening, while TikTok asks nothing of you. A footnote adds that if everyone gets a bit busier, the difficulty of coordinating a get-together rises multiplicatively, so small increases in individual busyness could produce large drops in socializing overall." derekthompson.org/p/the-deat…

Hi, Tomorrow we are re-opening the Pro $200 subscriptions to new subscribers, but together with it we are also changing how we calculate the usage for it. In effect, if you do the math, it will net out at half the dollar in API spend compared to the old Pro $200 plan. Now that it's said, let me explain why this is happening and why you will still get more work done than if you were on the Pro $200 subscription one month ago. (a) We didn't want to compromise in other ways and are committing to not reintroducing the 5h limit, so that you can fully use the weekly usage when you want. (b) On the subscription, we guarantee that over time you always get more work done and with an increasing level of quality. This means that you will continue to get more value per dollar spent as a result of models getting more efficient and us passing down the improvements in the form of API price reductions. (c) We don't want to put an incentive on ourselves to artificially inflate the API list prices to make it look like you are getting a lot (and workaround it through discounts, etc). Instead we want to continue to both rapidly reduce prices and increase capabilities of models on the API. This week we introduced GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna at 50% of their previous price. Over time, we see prices go low enough that it makes sense for most to buy usage as needed without there being a significant gap between what you get in a subscription and what you get in the API for a dollar spent. (d) Tomorrow, we are adding more things to the subscription that won't draw on the usage, I won't reveal what that is yet. I wanted to be transparent before all the big announcements tomorrow. Lots of new exciting things are coming to the subscriptions that will make it super compelling, but I wanted to make sure to share this change ahead of time so you can all understand it before we shower you with good news. Codexingly, Tibo

For us Codex / Claude are tools, whatever gives the best value for buck wins in the month, how you structure it's not that important. As you mentioned the more ACCEPTED output, for the same $ the better.

The chat is now monetized 🤑 People kept asking to pin a message, so I added a mini-bidding system. → trustmrr.com/chat I want to avoid the bidding numbers getting too high so it stays fun and people can easily outbid each other, but I'm not sure how? Maybe outbidding gets 10% lower each day, but it sucks if you're #1 and someone gets the spot for cheaper the next day, I think. WDYT?
I love this so much... I've rebuilt it for all payment providers! Join chats with founders making the same $$$: trustmrr.com/chat You need a startup with verified revenue on TrustMRR. The groups auto-unlock as your monthly income increases. It's not MRR, but the last 30 days of revenue. I'm alone in there, plz join!
