Every time you vibe code, learn something new:
Errors, databases, deployment.
Keep doing this, and you will move from vibe coding to software developer.
Agreed!
For me, the best way to learn will always be by doing things.
Fundamentals matter a lot, but learning through the process of actual building stuff is what always worked best for me.
Makes your mind work, be curious and exercise creativity.
A useful little exercise: after a fix works, explain in your own words why it worked, then change one thing and predict what will happen. That gives the next error a bit less mystery.
Future developers will learn coding through vibe coding.
Currently, we don’t really have any good curricula for it, but soon we’ll start developing better structures for teaching problem-solving skills and mindset.
This is the way. 😌
Every bug you have to understand instead of pasting back into the chat is a small level-up. A year of that and you're reading code, not just generating it.
