What's the logic to promote a model while keeping it inaccessible? AM I THE ONLY ONE THINKING THIS? If Gemini 4 Argon is really that good, please let us test the model!
1M output tokens in a single run! 🔥 Most frontier models cap output at around 64K tokens. @GoogleDeepMind once again increases the bar as Argon goes to 1M, as an industry first. Gemini 4 Argon just changed what "one prompt" can mean.

Claude Opus 5.5 just took a big drop on NerfBench. Yesterday it was scoring above launch. Today it's at 94.2%. GPT 6 Astra: 98.0% Sonnet 5.5: 100.9% GPT 6.1 Sol: 106.7% 94.2% is still inside normal variance, so we can't call it a nerf yet. But we're watching Opus 5.5 very closely.

🗣️ Ever felt like AI bots don't really listen? 🗣️ They just don't have a li'l Jev helping them yet!
One really cool use case I’ve been exploring with Jev: a semantic VAD for real-time voice AI. I plugged it into @AgoraIO ConvoAI and used the live transcript + recent conversation as context to decide whether the user has actually finished speaking. That makes Jev surprisingly good at handling things like hesitation, unfinished thoughts, and those moments where you stop talking for a second because you’re still figuring out what you want to say. It’s a nice example of where Jev fits really well in a real-time AI loop. Here’s what it looks like in action 👇

There’s still time to launch Jev with multi-model capabilities before someone else does.

What once was the peak, is now just the beginning. Paramount and Warner Bros. shaped over a century of culture. By combining them, we aren't rewriting history — we're equipping these iconic studios with a more powerful engine. Together, we are Skydance: a creative-first home for bold, quality storytelling. We chose this name for a few important reasons. First and foremost, as we bring Paramount and Warner Bros. together, we wanted to preserve what has made each of these studios iconic. Both have distinct identities, extraordinary legacies and brands that have resonated with audiences for generations. We never wanted a new corporate identity to diminish, alter or overshadow either one. Instead, we wanted a name that would give the combined company an identity of its own while allowing Paramount and Warner Bros. — and all our extraordinary brands — to remain in the spotlight. We have big goals for Skydance, and we intend to pursue them with passion, imagination and a willingness to take smart risks. At the same time, we will honor what makes Paramount and Warner Bros. special — giving both studios the opportunity to grow, tell more great stories and bring those stories to even broader audiences around the world, powered by the scale and capabilities of Skydance. I couldn’t be more excited about what we’re going to build together.

The only use cases for this is scamming people and porn. There is not a single good thing this is useful for.
The whole point of building Tavus has been simple: talking to a machine should feel as natural as talking to a friend or coworker. It’s hard to describe all the tiny nuances that make a conversation feel human. The little expressions. Moving around in your chair. Knowing when to speak and when to listen. The dance of it all. Griffin is by far the closest anyone has come to a model that can capture those nuances. The first time I saw it being used, I had no idea I was watching our model rather than just a normal video call. I’m so incredibly proud of this team and what they’ve built.

🚨 MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: YouTube will start prioritizing original content and reducing re-uploads (RIP clipping) YouTube has just announced one of the most impactful changes to its short-form algorithm. Its recommendation systems (the algorithm) will start to further prioritize original content and reduce the reach of content re-uploaded from other creators without adding anything of your own. They highlight this shift toward originality, where channels with primarily re-uploaded content will see less distribution within the Shorts feed. It also seems like they’re really trying to put the focus on content with real value, while highlighting that YouTube doesn’t want as many “minor technical edits” or “template-based” changes. Which is basically all that clipping was in this industry. Overall, while this will piss off some people whose entire careers were built on the premise of other people’s content (mostly clippers), the change itself is amazing and will finally address the overall quality issue we’ve been seeing.
