So happy to share @gabrielbgnn new portfolio! I handled the development with a focus on motions and interactions. Proud of how it came together 🥹 Check it out here : gabrielbeaugonin.com
My first portfolio is live. After years of building sites for other people, it felt good to finally take the time on my own, obsess over the details, and make something that actually feels like me. Not the flashiest thing out there. That’s the point. It’s about the experience, the flow, the small interactions. Big thanks to @dev_ya , who carried the development and did an incredible job. The whole thing runs on his work. → gabrielbeaugonin.com

Some websites shout for attention. Gabriel Beaugonin’s portfolio does the opposite. A unique layout, clever navigation, smooth animation, and thoughtful transitions, all packed with delightful micro-interactions. An easy Okay Pick.

Gonna start sharing more experiments from client projects and personal explorations. Some new, some from the archive 👀 Starting with this one: a prismatic trail and cubes reacting to the cursor, real-time in the browser with WebGPU + TSL ✦◽️

Really wanted the mobile version to feel just as considered as desktop. Happy with how this one turned out 🤝
spent a lot of time making sure the portfolio holds up on mobile same experience, same flow, just adapted. not a stripped-down version

Travel page for @gabrielbgnn portfolio. What started as a photo showcase became something a little more playful: a spring-driven plane flying across the page, wing-tip trails, and split-flap airport codes inspired by old departure boards. Link here ✈️ → gabrielbeaugonin.com

Little detail from the portfolio i like a lot. The pages each have their own url but the transitions are seamless enough that it doesn't feel like changing page, more like one continuous thing. And every transition is cancelable with escape. Mid-animation it reverses, and once you've landed, it takes you back home. Small thing but it makes the whole nav feel more yours than the site's. This transition is almost like all other page transitions: A simple color swipe. But this website adds downscaling of the page before the transition. This communicates really well that we are changing places. Not just a simple swipe, but a change in position that's almost physical Small and gorgeous details by @dev_ya
