We are releasing → classcad.ai today: AI driven embeddable CAD. If you ever enjoyed my OSS projects (zustand, react-spring, r3f, pmndrs), these all came out of CC. 🍻 A small 🇨🇭 team has been working on CAD for so many years, release seemed always out of reach. This is a huge milestone for us and i'd appreciate a RT. 🙏

the PaperTexture shader has been rebuilt from scratch! what’s new: - a new pattern with straight fold lines - a new angle prop to control shadow direction (combine it with seed for endless randomness) - roughnessSize to control the grain size - roughnessRows to arrange the grain into laid-paper stripes - manual blending control over how the image mixes with the paper texture - manual control over image distortion - texture clipping via the image’s alpha channel the roughness, fiber, drops, wrinkles, and crumples patterns are all still here, rebuilt for a more realistic look and better performance shader docs: shaders.paper.design/paper-t… full list of changes: github.com/paper-design/shad…

ok, busiest week of the quarter and the power goes out. no screens, no agents - but I still had to explore something forgot how good it feels to make something by hand, especially while AI devours the internet this is what the last few months felt like btw, launching soon 🔥
