Seahawks staying in Seattle. Same as it has been for 50 years. Stupid reporters looking for news swirls. #goHawks
To all @Seahawks fans and @12s, we have no plans to move the team, have never discussed it, haven’t even thought about it. End of story. I've said repeatedly we have no plans to change anything. Feel sad for the reporters looking for views and clicks who distort my answer out of context and sent an entire city into a spiral for no reason.

“Remain Calm”
🚨Breaking. There's been a pneumonic plague outbreak at a BSL-3 lab in Siberia, Russia.🚨 "Nearly 200 People Under Observation After Irkutsk Lab Worker Dies From Plague" - Moscow Times This is fact, and also the inciting incident in my book BIOLOGICAL WAR: A SCENARIO, which is unnerving. Will post more as I learn more, including from Russian speaking sources🧵 shorturl.at/De4kW

Introducing Discourse: not a group chat, not a broadcast social network, but a secret third thing. Discourse is built off the Cosign graph and will be embedded into the platform. discourse.cosign.co
Excited to release Discourse, a tech forum for the modern era. discourse.cosign.co Today, the discourse in tech is either free for all (broadcast social networks) or completely private (group chats). There’s no midsize social network where a few thousand tech leaders talk to each other. We'll have a hybrid model. Some people will have access to post directly, and everyone else's posts will go through a queue. We'll start with ~5,000 white-listed people, and more people who post smart comments will be given direct access over time. Discourse is built off the @cosign graph and will be embedded into the platform. We’ve partnered with our favorite monitors to make sense of what’s happening in real time. P.S. True to form, I actually built a version of this a decade ago called @beondeckdaily, inspired by Hacker News.

Starting today, Finances in ChatGPT is available in the US across Free, Go, Plus, and Pro. You no longer need a paid subscription to use it! This one means a lot to me. When I started @hellodigit back in 2012, it was a free financial chatbot that automatically saved money for you. The goal was to help as many people as possible. As Digit grew, we needed to charge to make the business sustainable. We went on to help people save over $9 billion. I'm proud of that. But charging also put the product out of reach for people we wanted to help. Making Finances in ChatGPT available for free feels like another chance to deliver on what I wanted to do from the beginning. Getting high quality financial assistance has historically been a privilege reserved for the wealthy. But getting financial help that takes your own situation into account shouldn't depend on being able to pay for it! Now you can connect your financial accounts to ChatGPT and get help grounded in your own numbers, without a paid subscription. This allows anyone in the US to get help thinking through big and small decisions with your own numbers in front of you: - What are you paying in fees and interest, and where could you save? - What would taking on college debt mean for your future? - How can you afford that first house and/or what would you have to give up to buy it? - Would a career change work financially for you and your family? There's still so much shit work that comes with modern banking, finance, and credit. We have a lot more to build to help people get back the time, money, and energy it takes from them. Removing the subscription barrier is a big step toward reaching more of the people who want help. And for our international friends, we haven't forgotten about you. We are working to open up access in more markets. Stay tuned! Lastly thank you to everyone who's tried Finances, shared feedback, and pushed us to make it better. Keep it coming. Onward!
Finances in ChatGPT is rolling out to Free and Go users in the U.S. Securely connect your accounts with @Plaid and @Experian to make sense of your money and credit, with answers based on your own financial information.

Least discussed but potentially biggest feature from OpenAI Dev Day this week is Sign in with ChatGPT Now ChatGPT subscribers can bring their subscription into other apps so they don’t have to separately pay for AI in those apps. Huge opportunity for every consumer / work app!

Jake is a craftsman for growing consumer apps in today’s era. He understands the ageless strategies of how to tell stories paired with the modern techniques of what works right now and is constantly testing and tuning. Worth the follow/subscribe and learning !
I’m giving away $2,000 worth of consulting calls, completely for free. All you have to do is comment “SCALE” on this post and sub to me free newsletter for a chance to win Sign up here: operatorsnotebook.beehiiv.co… Here’s how the giveaway will work: > When we hit 3k subs on my newsletter, that unlocks the first two calls picked randomly from my email list > When we hit 5k subs on my newsletter, that unlocks the next two calls again picked at random (a total of four 1:1 calls with me to help you scale your app or biz) And if this goes absolutely crazy and we hit 10k subs… I’ll host an hour-long live call and answer any questions you guys have for free. Right now I’m at about 2k subs X, work your magic

The articles says it is about picking the winner but goes much bigger than that - about finding a path where agents take the time to get to really know us meaningfully

Seeing some engagement with this old tweet today. Hard to believe it is has been nearly 9 years since Bytedance acquired Musical.ly And how much of the vision and ideas the team had at the time actually worked and came through!! Changed how we get and enjoy content !
It has been 9.5 years since I met and quickly invested in the Series A of Musical.ly. Met and invested within two weeks. Wrote this in my memo: The prize here is very large. If any company can create a new network that allows users to create and share videos, especially in conjunction with music and other media forms, and has tens or hundreds of millions of viewers, they would be in a strong position. It becomes a new form of entertainment — think the next MTV or even larger.

I got to work side by side with Sahill and Vineet in the early Robinhood days. They went on to build amazing things at Parafin and will keep going. Congrats on the huge milestone!
Big and very exciting news: @parafinHQ is joining @stripe. We started Parafin in 2020 because the small businesses that power the economy were the hardest ones to finance. Six years later, with $3B+ funded to 60,000+ SMBs, we're taking the mission to Stripe's scale. Huge congratulations to our team, investors and supporters. To our customers: nothing changes about our commitment to you. It only gets better from here. More from me, @vineetgoel92, and the team

This was an incredibly beautiful day and a special way to honor @om . I feel so lucky to have known him but moreso the incredible community of people he cultivated
#OmFest kicked off with an amazing dedication of a bench in South Park in his honor. At the Swedish American Hall people are milling in, there are 60 quotes like this to find throughout the space, and much more. I’m about to have the fourth cup of coffee in my life.

Today would have been @om's 60th birthday. I’ve been thinking about what made him so special, and part of it was that he had almost no patience for the superficial. Or the mediocre. Or, frankly, anything that had once been excellent and had decided to coast. That applied to ideas, cameras, design, writing, people, and especially coffee. Over the years, Om and I made the rounds of many of San Francisco’s best coffee shops. The moment the quality slipped, he was done. No nostalgia. No second chances. By the end, I think Linea, Coffee Movement and Golden Goat were about the only places still in the rotation. He could be wonderfully curmudgeonly, but it came from caring deeply about things. He noticed quality. He noticed effort. He noticed when someone had taken the time to do something properly. And he noticed people. Om was curious, sharp, funny, generous, sentimental, demanding, and deeply loyal. He made people feel seen. He connected people. He encouraged them. He showed up. I miss his texts, his advice, his very specific opinions, and the sense that somewhere in San Francisco he was probably drinking an excellent coffee and quietly judging everything around him. Remembering Om today, and every day.
