Nintendo UK launching preorders for LOZ:OoT hardware at 9am on a work day is the stupidest thing ever - literally checked as soon as I could and everything is sold out. Do better @NintendoUK

This is why if I ever do console pre-orders, I always do it in person since stores get assigned a certain amount for their pre-orders I did it during 2020 for both the Xbox series X and the PlayStation five

Yeah we don’t have anywhere local to pre order but that would be a good option. Shame most of them have probably gone to scalpers

It's not all about you. Lots of people work different shift patterns, times. It's been about 50 years since this was a 9-5 Monday to Friday country - if it was ever that.

Never said it was about me. It would just be nice if Nintendo maybe announced timings for pre orders to go live, or maybe do an invite system. I’m in the same boat as millions of other people.

Genuinely, i was refreshing at work, no banner, scrolled down one time, see its listed… get errored at checkout 3 times, console gone… actually insane… usually UK is pretty chill, but this is crazy bad…

I had the console in my basket from the very beginning. I tried to add the pro controller & game but they weren’t up yet so I tried to go to the checkout & it wouldn’t check out. Just kept crashing. By the time I’m finished & got everything in my basket at the console that gone

Was dumb. Had a day off today but the website crashes on me as I was ordering. Just wanted the controller and game. Console was sold out. Still got the game from smyths but this shit is annoying

They always do this. The store crashed for Xenoblade 3 CE orders and the scalpers took them all in the end. They are entirely missing the concept of what a pre-order is.

I was driving home and only found out at home that preorders went live and by the time I managed to get into the website, the physical copies of oot were gone:( honestly i was close to crying because i want it physically and i want the nintendo store bonuses:/

Luckily it was only listed at that time. Nothing was live to order just placeholders. Everything went live and became a shitshow at 10am
