Threadlines is open source as of today.
It's a desktop GUI for Claude Code and Codex. A real source control panel, a built-in file editor, switching providers mid-thread, and you can revert anything an agent did. MIT, free, macOS and Windows.
This is my first major open source release and not something I ever pictured myself doing. None of it would exist without
@theo and
@jullerino. They built T3 Code, made it open source, and have kept making it better constantly ever since. I came to T3 Code from Cursor and loved it. The only thing I missed was a proper source control panel like VS Code and Cursor have, so I forked it to build that for myself. The fork slowly grew into its own app, but the foundation and a thousand good decisions inside it are theirs.
I've watched Theo's videos and streams for a long time and posted maybe twice. Lurker through and through. But somewhere between all those videos I picked up the tools and the motivation to build this. Releasing my own fork of his project feels like a strange full-circle moment. If Threadlines ends up being useful to anyone, a lot of that credit belongs to them. Thank you both.
