Go long, go big!
I'm excited to announce that @AmcaInc has raised a $300M Series B at a >$1B valuation, led by @CaffeinatedCap with major support from @LightspeedVP, @a16z, @Lux_Capital, and others. We're on a mission to reconstitute a supply chain that has too often put profit over country.

Here’s a quick rundown of our payloads: W-8: - Canopy Aerospace’s Smart TPS-F to measure reentry using fiber-optic sensors. - Next-generation thermal protection materials funded through two partners: a government program, and the @AFResearchLab, which funds payloads through the Prometheus program. W-9: - Navigation system designed to collect data during hypersonic flight. - Additional heatshield materials from @syensqo. More vehicles, more returns, more data, double the fun.
This is the first time Varda has launched two spacecraft on the same rocket. We’ve operated two vehicles in orbit simultaneously but launching W-8 and W-9 together represents a shift to fleet operations as we increase launch and reentry cadence.

Amca presents The Great American Egg Drop in collaboration with @neros_tech.   We are calling on LA’s finest to participate in an engineering competition in which teams will build a contraption that drops and glides an egg from Archer, a Neros drone.   The team whose egg travels the longest distance horizontally without breaking will be crowned the winner.   The competition will begin promptly at 6pm on Thursday, Oct 15 in El Segundo during #LAtechweek.   More details and RSVP link below.

In under an hour, Varda will be launching W-8 and W-9 on the same rocket This is a huge milestone for us. We're transitioning from single vehicle to a fleet mentality. This is what allows us to scale our pharma manufacturing, gotta be able to operate multiple space factories!!
It’s a double feature! Watch W-8 and W-9 deploy together with @SpaceX's Transporter-18 mission: spacex.com/launches/transpor…

Very bummed to miss this today. Go @regentcraft!
REGENT Demo Day! Today, 1 Seaglider Way officially opened its doors. For the first time, people outside the REGENT team watched a Viceroy Seaglider fly. More than 600 customers, investors, government officials, partners, and media boarded ferries on Narragansett Bay to see our full-scale Viceroy prototype and Squire drone float, foil, and fly. Then we cut the ribbon on the world's first Seaglider manufacturing facility: 255,000 square feet in Quonset Business Park, built to deliver 75 Viceroy vessels and 300 Squire drones a year at rate production and put Seagliders in customers' hands as early as late 2027. Guests walked the production floor, tried the simulators, stepped inside the full-scale cabin mock-up, and heard from leaders across aviation, defense, and government about where we started and what's next. We proved the technology and the demand. Now we build. Thank you to everyone who celebrated this milestone with us. The future of maritime mobility is being built in Rhode Island.

Rebuilding the American Dream starts with ensuring that American jobs go to our great American citizens. I was proud to join @GregAbbott_TX and the Saronic team this morning for the groundbreaking ceremony of Port Alpha, where the next generation of American shipbuilding will be made by American hands. Thanks to President Donald Trump, American manufacturing is back and stronger than ever before!

.@Saronic wins @USNavy contract as it prepares to break ground on Port Alpha My interview with @MavrookasD about how Saronic’s autonomous vessels are being used in the Iran War and how Port Alpha will become the biggest shipyard in America. This stat says it all: China's naval shipbuilding capacity is estimated at roughly 230x that of the U.S. @CNBCMorningCall @CNBC cnbc.com/video/2026/09/30/sa…

"Marauder completed eight straight days of 24/7 testing, clearing 140+ scenarios without failure."
BREAKING: The U.S. Navy has awarded @Saronic a production contract for its 180-foot autonomous Marauder vessel. Marauder completed eight straight days of 24/7 testing, clearing 140+ scenarios without failure. The vessel autonomously detected, tracked, and followed other vessels using only its passive onboard sensors, without relying on active radar.

Saronic has been awarded a production OT under the U.S. Navy's MUSV Marketplace for Marauder, our 180-foot dual-use autonomous ship — following a rigorous at-sea evaluation that tested the vessel’s capabilities. The trials included autonomously tracking and maneuvering around a variety of vessels, plus a battery of passive-perception tests — requiring Marauder to detect, track, and follow other vessels using only its passive onboard sensors, with no active radar. It's one of the hardest problems in autonomous maritime systems, and Marauder ran every scenario back-to-back on the same platform now under contract with the Navy. "Marauder went from initial design to on-the-water in under a year, and this evaluation demonstrated that the platform holds up under the Navy's own toughest testing," said Dino Mavrookas, CEO and Co-Founder. "We've now flipped our third Marauder hull, with several more moving through the production line behind it. We can build at that pace because we designed the autonomy, software, hardware, and the production process side-by-side, as one system, rather than bolting them together after the fact. That's what it means to be a vertically integrated shipbuilder, and it's why we've been able to build and deliver at speed and scale."
