Improve its ability to act on and see other tasks already in codex. Right now it tells me that it can't see any of them and often when it creates its own tasks locally on my computer it can't see certain skills or plugins like chrome where most of my stuff is signed in.

dots is literally unlimited right now. are the others? muse seems good for interacting with meta products (ig/fb marketplace) but codex is my daily driver for many things so might as well use dotbot

Dots seems to be the most powerful in terms of intelligence thus far, followed by Grok and Muse. Muse is fun but doesn't seem cutout for engineering. Grok has some pretty sweet Cursor integrations.

FIX DOTS @thsottiaux Dots is a great concept, but permission issues make it borderline unusable. Computer Use? Dots can’t access it. New Codex chat? Struggles to open it. Old Codex chat? Locked. It’s insanely frustrating when half the product is off-limits.

Who has questions about how we're pricing dots? Happy to answer. I'll start by clearing some stuff up: 1. Dots are included in your Pro or Business Premium plan at no extra cost 2. Your dots are available 24/7. They don't stop answering because you consumed all your usage. 3. Your plan includes an allowance for deeper work. (This limit is very high for the next month as we dial things in.) 4. In the future you'll be able to add more dots, and/or scale your dots' output by increasing their speed or work allowance. This is pretty different from Codex pricing, and I think it's the future. All very new so we clearly have some work to do to explain it. Feedback welcome.

I got community noted, but the note is wrong 😅 Your primary dot is included in your plan and will be available 24/7. If you ask it to create a codex task for you, that one will be drawing usage as usual. But when your dot does work directly, that uses nothing and is all on top of your plans usage. In the future you will be able to increase the speed and allow your dot to have more bandwidth, this will be a paid feature, but the baseline functionality will always just be included in your plan.

I’ve been testing Dots for a bit. In short, it has a potential to be the best agent product in the world. Why? The quality of the AI is best-in-class. But the UX needs a lot of work before I can make it my daily driver. If OpenAI nails that, they’ve got a huge winner.
