PiDrei is now tracking Pi 1.0 github.com/gi0baro/pidrei/re… Codemode is implemented via @pydantic's Monty (because ofc, having the models writing JS in a Python Port was a step too far :P)
People of Pi: We've shipped Pi 1.0 with Pi Durable. Go make them yours. earendil.com/posts/pi-1-0/

I bet Theo's iPhone now auto completes "is" with "an incredibile model".
Sonnet 5.5 is an incredible model. You probably shouldn't use it. Here's a video explaining why.

"you suck at prompting" is the dumbest argument ever. Same ballpark of "you're holding it wrong". The whole f premise of "AI" is to use natural language to produce code. If it requires "special language" to work then the whole thing is just useless af.
It's hard to justify using models that are dumber than Fable and Astra. For real-world code work, the benefits massively outweigh the cost. The benefit isn't better code, it's something else that's more subtle.

tbqh, one of the worst videos ever made by Theo here. Why? The last minute of prime's video on the same topic contains pretty much the whole answer. piped.video/RoHzXoolPTY?t=719&i…
I donated a lot of money to Codeberg. Now they're banning AI code from the platform entirely. I'm not very happy about it.
