When we introduced @OuterBio, we shared Yuna, the platform we spent the last several years building to keep real human skin alive and measurable long enough to study the biology that unfolds over time.
This week, Advanced Science published our peer-reviewed study validating Yuna’s ability to keep human skin alive and measurable for over four weeks.
That extended window allows us to measure how skin actually functions over time, capturing complex processes like chronic inflammation, cellular senescence, and responses to environmental stress that shorter-duration models cannot fully reproduce.

I had the honor of sitting down with NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman (@NASAAdmin) at @ycombinator's event in DC, The Startup Industrial Base: Building for the Next 250.
We talked about how new space capabilities find their first real customer, and what it takes for in-space refueling to go from demo to service. 🚀⛽
T-24 hours until Protostar launches on SpaceX's Transporter-18!
This is our prototype power node to test our end-to-end tech stack in orbit. Upon completion, this will be the world’s first optical power beamed between two free-flying spacecraft.
This technological advancement will enable on-demand wireless power transmission and act as the foundation of Star Catcher’s orbital energy grid.

We’re happy to share that @Hop_Aero
has raised $11M to accelerate the development of rocket cargo.
Funding led by @Initialized, with participation from @ycombinator, @lunar_vc, System. One, Outsized Ventures and more. Also joined by strategic angels
@paulg, @JasonMiller and more.
Time to get building 🚀
When critical cargo is needed now, every second counts. @Hop_Aero is building Rook, its suborbital, hypersonic rocket designed to deliver cargo hundreds of miles away in minutes and land on unprepared surfaces.
Founded by @mat_milenovic and Jacob Balaj, they just raised $11M, and we're proud to have led the round. Between them, they've built rockets, spacecraft propulsion, and military drones, and it shows.
The team has already hot-fired its engine, static-fired a half-scale Rook rocket and demonstrated autonomous drone deployment from its payload bay. Light it up! 🚀
More from @vicky_woodburn@payloadspace: payloadspace.com/exclusive-h…
@Hop_Aero announced that it has raised $11M in funding today following its participation in the summer @ycombinator batch.
The new funds will enable the suborbital point-to-point logistics company to pursue the development of its full-scale Rook 2 vehicle, with the team targeting a first flight for mid-2027.
Until then, the team has been testing the half-scale Rook prototype with a full static fire and drone deployment from the payload bay.
Payload reporter @vicky_woodburn spoke with CEO @mat_milenovic to get the full details on Hop Aero's funding and what lies ahead for Rook. Link below ⬇️
"It's instinct but actually for work"
for Instinct & Muse, work and compliance was an afterthought; that's why we built Ace.
Ace has its own computer, email, phone number, and logins. You onboard it like a new hire and it just gets work done.
Congrats to @mat_milenovic and the @hop_aero team! Between them, they've built rockets, spacecraft propulsion, and military drones, and it shows in what they've done in so little time. Light it up! 🚀

It was a pleasure welcoming the NSSL Future Procurement team to Orbital Operations.
Our team walked them through our development hardware and shared a look at our plans and roadmap as we continue advancing high mobility capabilities for space. (No Federal endorsement implied)

Let there be light! Today we announce Protostar, our prototype power node. Launching on @SpaceX's Transporter-18, Protostar aims to beam optical power between two free-flying spacecraft for the first time ever. Read our @WIRED exclusive here: wired.com/story/space-lasers…
Across 360 robotics trials, Opus 5.5 averages under $1 per trial, scoring 1.8x as high as Opus 5 at half the cost and roughly matching Astra's mean score at 21% lower cost.
Can the US build a DJI? We bought a 2019 Mavic Mini and a 2023 Mini 4 Pro, tore them down in our hardware lab, and put them under a bench microscope to find out.

Greptile has reviewed over 395,000 pull requests across @NVIDIA‘s large, complex codebases, where keeping up with code review was taking a growing share of engineers' time.
On one team, the average time to merge went from more than 24 hours to 6 hours.
