Not sure I’m a fan of this design.. it doesn’t incorporate some of the key pieces of a discourse for me. It’s kind of one way traffic.. Might try to build something diff over the weekend for fun.
Excited to release Discourse, a tech forum for the modern era. discourse.cosign.co Today, the discourse in tech is either free for all (broadcast social networks) or completely private (group chats). There’s no midsize social network where a few thousand tech leaders talk to each other. We'll have a hybrid model. Some people will have access to post directly, and everyone else's posts will go through a queue. We'll start with ~5,000 white-listed people, and more people who post smart comments will be given direct access over time. Discourse is built off the @cosign graph and will be embedded into the platform. We’ve partnered with our favorite monitors to make sense of what’s happening in real time. P.S. True to form, I actually built a version of this a decade ago called @beondeckdaily, inspired by Hacker News.

It is and we are..
If this is accurate then that means we are so unbelievably stupidly early.

You mostly sit around doing nothing inside a metal tube as you travel. High-speed WiFi completely changes that. It’s a real win in collectively giving back millions of hours of productivity back to people. To fight it is unbelievably backward. I think next step is actually being able to use the flight screens as second monitors.
Quite amazing to see people disregard fierce, long-standing airline loyalties to choose the long-haul flight most likely to have Starlink. Literally nothing could shake people loose (bad service, catering, schedules, etc) until now.

Isn’t it historically true that one or two sectors drive the economy forward? Not all of them.. 🤔
The S&P 500 is near a record, but if you strip out the A.I. companies, it’s down 5% since late August. My @Morning_Joe Chart

kinda funny that it took 2 years to develop Jev and it's already obsolete after like 3 weeks (Laya, Gliner)

Feeling fomo for our own event. Enjoy dinner, New Yorkers!
Tonight, we're bringing together AI leaders from @Cloudflare, @alchemy, @thecosmos & more for an evening of conversations around inference and open-weight models. See you at Sup[p]er Intelligence, New York.

I struggle to find use cases for my personal agent That product leaders keep bringing up “restaurant reservations” makes me feel like they’re struggling too
Instinct CEO Noah Shinn says agents will let restaurants give tables to birthdays and anniversaries over whoever clicks first "And traditionally, because of the way that the internet has worked, at least for reservations, it's been first come first serve. So anyone that comes in, no matter how important or how not important it might be, whoever gets in first gets the reservation." "But what if you had the ability for the agent to be able to communicate on both sides, communicate, hey, this is important. This is actually the person's spouse's birthday, the 30th birthday, a very special event is coming up." "And the restaurant too can say, let's actually prioritize birthdays or major decade birthdays or major anniversaries or these certain people, I don't know, whatever it might be, right?" "So now with the ability, with all of the logistical burden of having to describe exactly what your case is and what's happening and why it's important. Now we have the ability to perfectly match what does the restaurant want? What does the user want?" "And that will result in more special events for the users being able to actually have a spot in the restaurant."

OpenAI is pulling ahead of Anthropic in the race.
Ultrafast - 8x the speed, up to 300 tokens/second. once you go ultrafast you won't go back :)

It’s not easy. Amazon did not find it easy.. nor will Instinct.
Instinct became shitty Amazon recommends app overnight. I didn’t need to buy carry on luggage, sunglasses, or a brim hat. This feels so disappointing. At least make me a personalized shopping list of things I actually need!!

It's moves like this OpenAI feels to be pulling ahead of Anthropic. Anthropic is closed everything: closed source Claude Code, no you cannot use other models with CC, and so on. OpenAI: Codex is open source, you can use other models; oh let's make it dead simple to use GLM-5.3:
Enterprise teams can now use open models like GLM-5.3 Flash and Kimi K3 natively in Codex and count spend against their OpenAI commit.

guy discovers how profitable inference is
Community note
The screenshot's Grok calc overstates inference profits by pricing all ~217k tok/s/GPU benchmark tokens at full output rates; AgentX traces show ~99.5% are cheap cache-hit inputs. inferencex.semianalysis.com/run/deepseek-v… huggingface.co/datasets/semia… api-docs.deepseek.com/quick_start/pr… x.com/smallmodelsmel…

Erm.. isn’t that just an EA who has an agent running? 🤔🤔
Agent market is far from decided.... Fo is more trustable, safer with credit cards, much higher completion rates and much more! And humans in the loop help solve the harder tasks
