it's still there, but to be fair hidden away behind a share button now. to stephens reply - will see what the team thinks! you have a few options of passing context to your agent though. - one is to copy the nodes to clipboard and then paste them (see video!) - another is to leave comments on your file and then ask your agent to pick them up and action them ๐Ÿ™ thanks for using paper!

> Figma image fills require Paper's browser extension connected to a Figma account that can open the source file. Without it the paste succeeds but the images are missing. not quite. you just need to paste and then connect to figma when this dialog shows up. will open the oauth flow and then when you get back in images will start resolving (figma api limits apply)

tbh I find the types github.com/atlassian-labs/coโ€ฆ exposes via createStrictAPI is still the goat styles are local and typed, nothing to teach agents where things live. you define types per style property / pseudo states. you define style boundaries per component. only allowed properties pass typecheck. here I set up astryx tokens with it, works a treat

for paper people: I'm looking at reducing the friction when working with paper mcp + agent harnesses right now (e.g. ever get paper mcp not found when starting your agent harness before paper? yeah that!) looking for thoughts: if when setting up the mcp server inside paper you had to enter admin privileges, something like the attached, would that feel scary / odd / bad / ...? or would you be okay that? doubly interested in folks that are in an enterprise setting!

drag to reorder tabs is coming to @paper desktop soon. here's some tips if you were to implement this yourself ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿณ โฒ๏ธ drag & drop isn't needed for the initial paint, so it shouldn't be on the critical path. this includes both executing code, and downloading the bundle! โš›๏ธ view bindings (like for react) are a footgun. apply the drag and drop in an effect (or equivalent) with vanilla apis which ensures it's off the critical path. ๐Ÿ‘ช personal preference, but don't make dnd behaviour bleed throughout your components. similar to layout, the parent component dictates the logic / loading orchestration. enable behaviour through child refs in the parent! โœจ have fun! dial it in for how it feels to drag & drop. I gave extra care to bring some physicality like having drops take longer the further away from the drop target they were (and shorter when closer!).
